These days coffee drinkers are moving beyond the "burnt" tasting coffee of a certain behemoth coffee-house chain and refining their palates with single-bean coffees, whose unique taste can be discerned using makers such as the Clover -- the finest commercial-grade drip machine available.
What is the Clover, anyway? The Clover is a single-cup coffee brewer which lets the barista brew each individual cup of coffee based on the characteristic of the coffee bean! With the Clover, every cup is a hand-crafted, fresh cup. You can now choose any beans on our coffee menu, watch and smell your own coffee brew. And it takes only seconds! Will I be able to taste the difference between a Clover cup and a regular cup? |

What we’ve found so far: a resounding yes! There is a big difference between a freshly brewed cup of coffee made individually vs. a cup poured from a pot (although of course our daily roast is pretty good too!) We have found that coffee drinkers not only appreciate the freshness, but also are better able to enjoy the flavors and expression of each coffee.
Does a cup from the Clover cost more than a regular cup?
Yes it does, and the reason is that you are able to select the beans you would like ground and brewed for your cup of coffee, and our barista has to hand brew that cup for you. It won't cost anymore than some crazaccino you would get at a notorious mega coffee house chain who shall remain nameless, but it will cost a little more than our (inexpensive) house brew.
What bean should I try?
Any bean we carry! Right now our proprietor, Jack, is partial to the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, so if you ask for that he will think you know what you're doing.
